climbing last month

A few weeks ago I went to the Frankenjura together with Peter. We did some great limestone climbing. It was my sixth or seventh visit to this great area. My climbing is slightly improving on the steep, fingery and sometimes "interesting" protected limestone routes. Onsight climbing level improved to 7/7+ and I definitley feel there is plenty of potential to improve. The power in my fingers improves a lot through bouldering and my campus training at home. Power in your fingers is definitley a great thing to have if climbing in Frankenjura. Also my foot placement improves, nice to discover that there are a lot of more foot holds than during my first climbing trips :-)

Last week I went to the Tessin in the south of Switserland for climbing the Alhambra. this route is famous, and one of the big routes in the south. It's well protected and very long (18 pitches up to 6b+). We climbed the lower part of the route (slabs). After 10 pitches we decided to go down because my climbing partner really did not feel well on the slabs.

In september I started a really cool training with plenty of running, weight lifting and indoor climbing. It's nice to do 2 sessions a day and feeling the improvement from week to week!!! I'm very excited to start the first winter climbs of this upcoming season. Maybe the second week of november gives some opportunities to do the first north faces or gullies!!! yeah.
