Yes, yesterday first trip to Ettringen with Miel. Cool jam session in the Finsterlay. We startet with "bloody saturday", V, ... it was more like "wet saturday", especially the last 3 metres. We also climbed "seinesgleichen geschieht", VI+, "Feuertaufe", VII+, and "Presskopf", VII-. This time I hadn't enough juice to redpoint the harder routes. I guess that alpine ice climbing plus a minor cold from last week didn't really help to climb these routes.
Anyway, we had a great day at the cracks. And I think for me this is the earliest start of the crack climbing season ever. In the afternoon we went to Kottenheim and in the sector "Steingarten" we found some really nice routes as well.
